Daily prayer is the means by which we renew ourselves. Prayer is a reaching out to God, a response to God’s blessings. Prayer involves asking God what God already knows you will ask. God wishes us to ask for prayers for others, for the suffering and hurt, for the poor and lonely, for animals, other Creatures, the entire Creation. It is through prayer that humans intercede with God to bring God’s Creation to the Good that He has always planned for it, for us.

A prayerful scholar is a praying scholar, 
seeking God’s help, asking for the intercession
of the Saints, of the Virgin Mary, so that the
Holy Spirit informs, reveals, helps us to
understand God’s will and ways.

A scholar examines human and natural history to discover what is true. In the process, the scholar seeks help from God through prayer to bless the scholar with wisdom, so that We shall know the Truth, and the Truth shall set us free.
